SoundSorb is Versare NZ’s high-performance acoustic material designed to reduce echo, soften harsh noise, and make shared spaces more comfortable. Made from 50% recycled PET, SoundSorb panels are lightweight, low-maintenance, and suitable for commercial, educational, healthcare, and workplace environments.
What SoundSorb Does
Hard surfaces like glass, concrete, and timber reflect sound, creating echo and distracting background noise. SoundSorb absorbs these reflections to improve speech clarity, reduce fatigue, and support concentration. With an NRC rating of up to 0.60–0.77, SoundSorb absorbs a significant portion of reflected sound energy, creating calmer, clearer, and more functional spaces.
NRC Scale Example:
- 0.0 = no absorption (e.g., polished concrete)
- 1.0 = total absorption (e.g., an open window)
