Feature tiles are deducted from the coverage target first. They are applied to walls first; if walls are fully covered and ceiling is selected, any excess is applied to ceiling.

Waste allowance covers cutting losses, handling damage, and layout variation. 10% is a standard allowance and works well for most rooms. Very simple rooms may need slightly less; complex layouts may need slightly more.
